The University of North Texas chapter is one of more than 300 chapters of the Public Relations Student Society of America, the foremost organization for students interested in public relations and communications.
UNT PRSSA provides tools to help members reach their professional goals in their education in public relations and communications. You do not need to be a PR major to join, as we provide helpful internship information and career development resources that are valuable to all majors. Our chapter promotes skills in social media, networking and career development.

Chick-fil-A Bowl Internship Program – Deadline February 17
The Chick-fil-A Bowl is seeking candidates to fill four paid internships for the 2012 college football season. The internship period begins June 25, 2012 and concludes January 31, 2013. Each position pays a stipend of $1,260.00 per month. Please note that housing is not provided by the Chick-fil-A Bowl. Interested candidates will be applying for internships in the following concentration areas: Communications/Public Relations Sales & Ticketing Event Management (2 total positions)

Press Club Networking Hour – January 23

Spend Spring Break Adding to Your Professional Network with the Take Flight Job Shadowing Program
Have plans for spring break? Spend the week shadowing DFW professionals as part of the UNT Career Center‘s Take Flight Job Shadowing program.
Entering its second year, the program allows UNT students investigate different career fields, clarify career goals and interests while functioning in professional work environments. There are opportunities for every major and class level. And it’s free!
