Welcome to UNT PRSSA
The University of North Texas chapter is one of more than 300 chapters of the Public Relations Student Society of America, the foremost organization for students interested in public relations and communications.
UNT PRSSA provides tools to help members reach their professional goals in their education in public relations and communications. You do not need to be a PR major to join, as we provide helpful internship information and career development resources that are valuable to all majors. Our chapter promotes skills in social media, networking and career development.
PRSSA ended the year with a bang during Wednesday’s Senior Send-off & New Member Dinner at Mr. Chopsticks.
In all, six PRSSA seniors will graduate next week, so PRSSA sent them off into the real world with PRSSA coffee mug and PRSA membership applications.
PRSSA also named the 2011-2012 Member of the Year Award to Adrienne Tate for her continuous dedication to the chapter throughout the year and presented adviser Samra Bufkins with a basket of her favorite goodies and an award for her dedication for her desk. It was a night of surprises as the outgoing Executive Team kindly presented president Katie Grivna with a graduation gift.
Thanks to everyone who attended our last Senior Send-off & New Member Dinner of the 2011-2012 school year to make it a success!
Here’s a few photos from the night:
